Privacy Policy

Book My Imaging ("we", "us") helps patients in Australia find and request imaging appointments (X-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT, bone density/BMD, nuclear medicine and thyroid scans) with local imaging clinics. Protecting your privacy and the security of your health information is core to how this service is built.

What we collect

Name, phone number, email address, the imaging service you're requesting, any notes you add, and — if you choose to attach one — a scanned or photographed referral document. We also record which clinic(s) you sent a request to and your preferred contact method.

How we use it

Solely to connect you with the imaging clinic(s) you choose, so they can contact you and arrange your appointment. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see it

Your request and any attached referral are visible only to you and the staff of the clinic(s) you send the request to. Access is enforced at the database level (row-level security) — a clinic cannot see another clinic's requests, and no request is visible to the public.

Security

Data is stored with an Australian- and Singapore-region cloud database provider with encryption at rest and in transit. Referral attachments are stored in a private file store, not publicly accessible.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing privacy@bookmyimaging.com.
