1. Who we are
Book My Imaging ("Book My Imaging", "we", "us", "our") operates bookmyimaging.com (the "Platform"), a directory and appointment-referral service that helps people in Australia find local diagnostic imaging providers ("Imaging Providers" or "Clinics") and either submit a booking request or, where a Clinic offers it, book an available appointment time directly.
2. What Book My Imaging is — and isn't
Book My Imaging is a technology platform that connects patients and Imaging Providers. We are not a healthcare provider, and we do not perform, supervise, or interpret any imaging or medical procedure. We do not provide medical advice, and nothing on the Platform should be treated as medical advice. Any imaging service you request or book is provided entirely by the Clinic you select, under that Clinic's own clinical responsibility, terms, and policies.
3. Using the Platform
To submit a booking request or make an instant booking, you must provide accurate contact details and, where relevant, an accurate referral. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit. You must be legally entitled to request the imaging service in question (for example, hold a valid referral where one is required).
4. How a booking works
Where a Clinic accepts booking requests only, submitting a request through the Platform does not guarantee an appointment — the Clinic will contact you (by your selected contact method) to confirm, decline, or arrange a suitable time. Where a Clinic offers instant booking for a service, selecting an available time reserves that slot with the Clinic directly; you should still confirm any preparation instructions, referral requirements, or costs with the Clinic before attending.
5. Accuracy of clinic information
We ask Imaging Providers to keep their listing, opening hours, services, and appointment availability accurate and up to date, but we do not independently verify every detail a Clinic publishes, and availability or scheduling information may occasionally be out of date. Please confirm appointment details, costs, and any preparation requirements directly with the Clinic before your appointment.
6. Costs
Book My Imaging does not set, collect, or process payment for imaging services. Any fees, bulk-billing arrangements, or out-of-pocket costs are between you and the Clinic. Where a Clinic publishes indicative pricing information on the Platform, it is provided by the Clinic and should be confirmed directly with them.
7. Cancelling or changing a booking
Where you have a booking manage link, you may use it to cancel or reschedule an instant booking yourself, subject to the Clinic's availability. For a request-based booking, contact the Clinic directly, or contact us and we will pass on your request.
8. Privacy
Our collection and use of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Platform you consent to us sharing your request details with the Clinic(s) you select, as described there.
9. Imaging Providers
By listing a business on the Platform, you confirm you are authorised to do so on that business's behalf, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will handle any patient information you receive through the Platform in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and applicable health-records law. Listings are subject to our review and approval, and we may decline or remove a listing at our discretion, including where information appears inaccurate or the account appears to be misused.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Book My Imaging is not liable for: the clinical care, advice, or treatment provided by any Clinic; the accuracy of any Clinic's listed information, pricing, or availability; delays, errors, or failures in a Clinic contacting you or honouring a requested or booked appointment; or any loss arising from your reliance on information supplied by a Clinic through the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Availability of the Platform
We aim to keep the Platform available and functioning correctly but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not liable for loss caused by an outage, bug, or maintenance window.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Platform after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
